We’re doing all we can to minimise the risk of COVID-19

We have made meaningful changes to our operational procedures in order to optimise your family’s safety and peace of mind. The aim of these new strategies is to minimise the risks of infection whilst continuing to provide children and families with the highest level of service.

We are committed to:

•   Limiting interactions between staff, parents, children & visitors, & maintaining social distancing as much as is reasonably practicable

•   Monitoring and limiting unessential visitors to the centre

•   Conducting temperature screenings for every child who attends our service

•   Upholding a strict level of hygiene across our service

•   Providing staff and visitors with protective equipment such as gloves, shoe covers and masks

•   Keeping our staff and families informed about our management of the risks of COVID-19

We have a COVID-19 Safety Plan and are committed to keeping you safe.

Questions about our response to COVID-19

Do you have a COVID-19 policy?

Yes, we have a COVID19 policy that details what we are doing to minimize the risk of COVID19 at little kingdom childcare. This policy is always to the families and parents of our centres.

Will I be notified of any confirmed cases of COVID-19?

Yes, if we become aware of a confirmed case of COVID-19, all families who attend Little Kingdom will be notified immediately.

What happens if there is a confirmed case of covid19?

If a case of covid19 is reported, we will follow the appropriate health and safety procedures set by the NSW government department. This may include having to close our centres to carry out effective cleaning procedures. Rest assured parents and families of our centres are our number one priority and will always be kept informed through every stage of this process.

What if my child of a staff member has influenza like symptoms?

For the safety of everyone, any child or staff member who is displaying influenza-like symptoms, even with mild symptoms, should not attend the service.

Any child or staff who become ill with influenza like symptoms, while at the service will be sent home immediately. Any child or staff who has been seen to suffer from influenza like symptoms will require a medical clearance from a doctor to return to care.
