Unlock Savings: Childcare Subsidy Info

The cost of child care is different for every family in Geraldton, WA. It depends on the age of your child, the number of days in child care as well as your eligibility for Child Care Subsidy (CCS). Knowing the subsidy rate early helps parents plan ahead and get everything ready for their child’s start in childcare. We recommend contacting one of our centres, where one of our team members can discuss the daily fees with you.

Your childcare subsidy will be calculated using three components

1. Your CCS percentage, based on your total family income.

2. Hours of care, based on the activity of the least active family member

3. Hourly rate, determined by the benchmark fee set by the government or centre hourly fee (whichever one is lower)
