At Little Kingdom Childcare we are committed to caring for the environment and contributing to a sustainable future. We recognise the importance of our role as a service provider to promote awareness and action towards caring for the world. We adopt a whole service approach to sustainability with four main goals that aim to support children to become responsible members of our society.
Sustainability and Education goals
We aim to ensure inclusive and continuous learning opportunities about sustainability, for children, staff, families, and our wider community. We provide education and training opportunities for all staff and families to ensure we stay in touch with current and developing knowledge surrounding sustainable practices.
Sustainability and Consumption goals
We aim to prioritise sustainable consumption across the whole service through thoughtful and efficient use of resources and waste reduction. We reduce waste generation through the steps of prevention, reduction, recycling and reusing.
Sustainability and Partnership goals
We aim to strengthen our means of implementation through reciprocal partnerships for sustainable development. We invite families to contribute to and be involved with sustainability goals and projects. We also develop and maintain partnerships with institutions that can contribute to or guide us to achieve our sustainability goals.

We aim to build an accountable and inclusive institution through the long-term implementation of a business strategy that focuses on an ethical, social, environmental, cultural, and economic conscious way of doing business
