What is the Child Care Subsidy (CCS)?

The CCS is a subsidy given to parents by the government to help with the cost of childcare. The Child Care Subsidy is means tested and based on your family’s combined income, amount of activity and the type of service your child attends.

Am I eligible for CCS?

Little Kingdom Childcare is a subsidy approved service, however certain requirements must be met for an individual to be eligible to receive the Child Care Subsidy (CCS) for their child. - Find out more information on our child care subsidy page

What are your operating hours?

Our operating hours at The Rocks Centre are from 7.30am to 6.00pm, Monday to Friday, 52 weeks a year. We are not open on weekends or public holidays.

How much does it cost to send my child to Little Kingdom Childcare?

The cost of child care is different for every family. It depends the age of your child, number of days in child care as well as your eligibility for Child Care Subsidy (CCS). We recommend contacting one of our centres where one of our team members can discuss the daily fees with you.

From the 10th December 2021, the Federal Government removed the annual cap for all families who receive CCS. The previous cap of $10,655 per child for each financial year will not apply from this date for families earning more than $190,015 for the 2021-2022 financial year. This means that your CCS amount will now become uncapped.

From 7th March 2022 families with children aged five or under will get higher subsidy for their second child. This subsidy will apply to the younger of the children, with eligible higher rate children receiving a 30% higher subsidy with a maximum of 95%.
